I don't believe in "writers block". I believe in boring people. I believe in stupid decisions. I believe in mundane existence. I believe in same shit, different day. I believe in not knowing how to capture perfectly, so why bother. But I don't believe in "have nothing to say."

advice, writers block, shit my slammaster says

Sometimes, "have nothing to say" is code for "nothing I want to share."

Then it's not "writer's block". That's "writer-choosing-not-to-write." It's the difference between "can't" and "won't."

You know I'm all over this one. It simply doesn't exist.

When I feel pressured or overwhelmed my brain sort of freezes-I do my best to write through it but I do label it Writer's Block because its shorter than saying "I've panicked myself into a corner and don't know how to string together coherent thoughts and ideas in a way that pleases me in any way at all so I am just going to lay here in the fetal position and think of all of the worst things in the world and all of the things I dislike about myself and my writing which will only plunge me deeper into anxiety and then wonder why I stopped writing for two weeks and started watching marathons of bad tv on HULU"...ya know...its short hand...
