Do you have Kevin Young's "Ardency" yet? It's great -- as my epic Amazon review attests! ;) I know you've read a lot of Kevin in the past, so here's some fresh stuff to add to the mix!

My Coffee Bean poet suggestion is Matt Cook. He's got three books out on Manic D, so lots of poems to chose from, and his stuff is all (relatively) short, weird and funny, which is great if you are looking to full up some space!

Here's a link to a sampling of his work from the Writers Alamanac website:

(NOTE: This "On this day" stuff is NOT his poetry).

Also, I recommend Mahogany Browne as your coffee bean poet! She's released two new books ("Swag" and "Dear Twitter") since your last 24 hour reading! Just saying!

I like Cook's stuff here!
Read "Ardency", like it. Will likely read some of it. Still compiling!Recommendations are always welcome!

Hi Scott, I feel a bit silly asking this, but what do you mean by a 'coffee bean poet'? I've honestly never heard that before. Pardon my ignorance!

It's okay! I made up the term, so it's not really a common phrase outside of my mouth.

Is it wrong that when you said "favorite loud ass" the first name that came to mind is Bill Campana? :-P
