Come on, get in touch with your inner crap writer. I've unconsciously written a couple of passages that are already deserving of a Fabio-circa-1991 cover. For the most part, though, it does not suck.

not being mean to scott, just believe that he will get wrapped up in tweaking what he has already written, while steve will bust it out & deal with edits after.

besides, steve can be cutthroat when it comes to competition.
(remember the membership drive. we went toe-to-toe & he fought right up to the last second... literally)
