I don't know how many of you Columbus folks are signed up for the road trip to the Green Mill that Dave proposed a couple of weeks ago or if it's still on, but an alternate plan if it is off is this

So far no one has really committed to the GM on the 18th. The GM will be there every Sunday and another trip could be planned but Sherman Alexie only comes through town once in a while.
btw, he did make one other reference to his poety, "When a cow can beat me in a poetry slam I will stop eating beef."
I was planning on the Green Mill trip. Plus it's my sisters bday weekend and she wants to get out of town, so we were discussing driving up Saturday and partying that night and then meeting up with the Columbus contingent at the Mill on Sunday. Let's talk more tonight.

Didn't know he was coming. Wouldn't have been able to make it anyway- I won't be back to visit Kent till the last weekend of this month, when Euphrates and I are going up for the Over The Rhine show.
I didn't think anything much was happening in Kent these days, aside from KSU's Wick Program stuff and Major's readings at the Gallery.
