Ianto froze, takeaway coffee cup halfway to his mouth.
“Coffee that bad?” Jack asked, coming alongside. “We’ll need the caffeine dealing with Archie, so drink up.” He paused. “You okay?”
“Tardis… Doctor…” Ianto gestured across the street.
“Oh that. There’s…” Jack paused, counting. “Four Police boxes across the city. This one used to be covered in polkadots!”
“So, nothing to do with us?”
“Nah. Not anymore...”
“Don’t you dare!” Ianto growled. “Tell me more.”
Jack laughed, unrepentant. “What’s it worth?”
Ianto leant in close, whispering in Jack’s ear.
“Tonight?” Jack asked, eyes sparkling.
“Tonight.”
“Well...”
