Written for my personal "2009 - A Year in Drabbles" challenge on Whofic.
A/N:- Conservative MP Nigel Evans, member of the House of Commons Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee, was recently quoted as having criticised the BBC for promoting David Tennant over the Festive Period to the exclusion of other actors he's been on TV so often. (Can't see the problem myself).
In addition David Tennant can currently be seen in UK cinemas in the second St Trinian's movie Legend of Fritton's Gold.
Title refers to a
sketch by Kevin Bishop poking fun at the frequency with which JB was appearing on TV a year or so ago.
oOo
“He gives me chills,” Jack whispered, squeezing Ianto's hand in the darkened cinema.
“Haven't you seen him enough? How often has he been on TV recently? 40 times? 50?”
“75. I counted...”
“In between saving the world and buying my Christmas present?”
“Yeah. He's just so...”
“Hot?' Ianto supplied, coyly. Jack turned to face him, speechless. “Gwen agrees but she thinks Rhys is hot so...” Ianto shrugged.
“Rhys is hot... in his own way,” Jack chided. “You, however, are ...” Jack began then paused “Later,” he promised flashing a smile as the woman in front glared at them.
