A lovely list, and one that I found very edifying - I share your's and Graeme's sweet tooth, and I'm impressed that you do cross-stitching; you've got a lot more patience than I have!

I've been doing it since I was about 12. Both my mum and my aunt do it and I learnt from them. It's only in the past couple of years that I've moved on from doing cards and bookmarks and other little projects to proper big projects that need framing and hung on walls.

I find it calms me when I'm upset or angry and I get a great buzz from finishing a project. And it keeps my hands busy while watching TV. I'm a great footerer.
