People who read this blog may notice I occassionally mention Pulp magazines and characters. I like them. They had a certain imaginative quality that some present stories and novels lack. So, I watched the new episode of Doctor Who over the weekend.. The Beast Below. Good Episode, but I have one, niggling little question about it...

Two appointments ago, my psychiatrist, after a miserable failure in a medication he prescribed me, opted to go with his first choice of a medication for me, which is ritalin. The problem it was addressing was, in an unusual way, my anxiety and depression, by way of making me be able to concentrate better. It actually worked, which is a good thing. ( Read more... )
