The whole town was exceptionally slow today, like it had been for the past couple of days, besides for the occasional yoma here and there. Although she had to admit the quietness was a nice change than from what she was usually use to, boring wasn't necessarily bad. Just..too much of it could start to become a bit too tedious. Which was why Galatea felt like she had to take another trip to the ruins. Walking around there was a good cure of boredom for her and she almost always ran into some interesting monsters ( ... )

Enjoying the walk?

He had heard her footsteps before the woman ever spoke. However he had figured she was one of the patrol and would just move on past him. He hadn't expected her to speak to him. And the way she planted herself in his path said that she expected an answer.

Pushy lass. Had the hair been styled a little differently he might have mistaken her for the vampire's leash holder: Integra Hellsing. But it wasn't.

Odd, he was even thinking a little fondly of the heathens back home. No matter. It would be rude to not answer the woman before him.

"Aye, Ah suppose yeh could say tha'. An' joost wha' are yeh daeing oot here, lassie, if ah may ask?"

The accent caught her off guard and took only a little longer than usual to figure out what he was saying and when she finally did, only nodded in response to him. "Walking. I suppose I like to wander around more than I thought,"

She stepped out of his walking path and back onto the sidelines. "I'm not one much for sleeping anyway." which was true, claymores hardly every slept.

"Joost who, precisely, wanders where moonsters are supposed tae tread?"

The irony in the question was not lost on him. But it was different. Ladies weren't supposed to go out unaccompanied at night, even if they had a vampire slave. He was a priest and was a monster hunter on top of that. He was here with a purpose.

...and what kind of person wasn't one for sleeping? Even he had to sleep a little bit during each day. And it was quite the chore to get all the children up in the morning. A slight twinge passed through his heart. He missed the children most of all. He wondered if there was some sort of orphange that he could work at here.
