What: Childabuse!Ciel needs a companion. Bitty!Riza seems like she may share more information than her full-grown counterpart. Sebastian tries to kill two birds with one stone... while serving tea.

[Riza had never been invited to tea before. Not with anybody. Even the kids in the village school who were nice to her never invited her to their houses because she was the poor girl who lived on the hill with her crazy hermit alchemist father. Not that she'd have gone if they had. She had to take care of things at home, so even if she had been inclined to be gregarious she wouldn't necessarily have had time for many social engagements.

But she was in Anatole now. And Mister Sebastian had said she should try to have fun and enjoy the adventure while she was here. Although, fun was the farthest thing from her mind as she stood on her toes to reach the door knocker at the address she'd been given. Her other hand was wrapped around Black Hayate's collar not to keep him from running off (which she knew he would never do) but to steady her own jitters as she waited for the door to be opened for her.]

[Meanwhile, already at the table, was ten year-old Ciel. He was slumped over somewhat, his head drooping so that he was staring at his own knees. He still didn't fully understand what had happened. But, he they were, having tea like he was still back home with his family.

The boy eyed the butler, lifting his head slightly.]

... Sebastian? Who's coming over?

[Whew, Sebastian remembers these extra sombre days. He minded them less the first time around, because he didn't know Ciel as well back then. Now that he does, he'd just as soon have Ciel get over the advanced moping stage and move on to become his more entertaining self as quickly as possible.]

I took the liberty of inviting someone your age for tea, young master. Her name is Riza Hawkeye. I do hope you two will get along.

[Aka, she's not Lizzie, but don't be rude. Without giving Ciel time to protest, Sebastian sweeps out of the room and heads swiftly down to the foyer. He pulls open the door so that he can let Riza in.

[She almost jumps when the door opens, inching closer to black Hayate as they both look way up at the tall butler. He's even taller than her father.]

H-Hello, Mister Sebastian.

[And now she's worried that she's here too early or too late, or that maybe she just imagined the invitation in the first place and she considers just running away right now.

But the door is already open, she's knocked and he's answered and she won't back down. Scared though she may be, she's stubborn, too. Just like Mister Mustang said she would be when she grew up. No backing down.]
