[She's quick about it, but has no inkling she's being followed. Why would she? Who would dare?

The Mist is thick-wrapped at the foot of the stone beast, and Bellatrix pauses there, pressing a palm to the cold stone in hopes of the slightest bit of heat.

It's cold and hollow, but the thrum of her own pulse almost tricks her into believing its heart beats beneath the empty rock.

She kneels for a moment, and unwraps something from within the folds of her cloak - lays it upon the ground with a whisper.]

[In the moments it takes for her hand to hover in the empty air just above her offering (a heart freshly loosed of its fleshprison - and still beating, (spells are awesome) by the way.) she's stricken still and striped with bright.

At first she thinks it a sign. But then she turns her head - catches sight of this stranger who has dared interrupt her private communion, her espression turns foul. Wand hand twitching but unable as of yet to slip free and grasp what it wants.

What is the meaning of this.

[It's more a command than a question, and she rises to her feet, fingers of that hand tap tap tapping against her thigh.]
