where the sunbeams never reach

Who: Hitsugaya and Bellatrix
When: Tonight.
Where: Near the Destroyer Statue, in the Mist
Format: Action
What: Hitsugaya tracks down Bellatrix for an EPIC ARREST
Warnings: VIOLENCE yeahhhh B)   ...Magical violence, specifically.

[While so much of the rest of Anatole was wrapped up in their little red threads (no pun intended), Hitsugaya had been tirelessly at work investigating the case he'd been assigned by Byakuya: the search and arrest of Bellatrix LeStrange.   He'd taken note of everyone she'd spoken with over the Forge in the past, and trailed those he thought might be able to lead him to some real clues.  There was also information to be found from the townspeople themselves, regarding not just the location of her manor in the mist, but of her recent exploits in the town.

Her actions were escalating, and he had eyewitnesses attest to her being spotted along with a companion in the park, on the same evening that a murder occurred.  Another had followed in the next few days, obviously connected - the hearts of the victims removed, or burned out, as well as pieces of the body that had been violently severed or removed.

Waiting further would only allow for further violence, which he meant to put a quick end to.  The Mist itself lend him exactly the cover he needed to lay in wait for her to make her move.  Hitsugaya was glad Byakuya had made him practice kido out here - sometimes his powers didn't behave appropriately, and he'd had to learn to adapt techniques as necessary.

So long as the Mist wasn't playing some kind of trick, she'd finally left her manor, and he knew where she was off to.  It seemed she made trips out towards the Destroyer Statue with some degree of frequency.   He had to hope that luck was on his side, and that he wouldn't end up led off target trying to trail her there, but he relied on his own sense of direction, instead of visual or auditory clues.  He just hoped she wouldn't be able to sense his presence - he had no idea exactly how her 'magic' worked, after all.]
