[He stumbles out of the pub, squinting up. Two things are wrong with this picture. 1: it's daylight. 2: it's daylight. …wait. Yes, that's right. 'Cause 1: it wasn't daylight when he went into the pub so it doesn't seem right for it to be so now. And 2: yeah it's alternate dimensions or bollocks where rules don't work and light is lite but still feels weird to be walking around in the sun so casually without a big schmatta over your head. Or bursting into flame. Takes some of panache out of being a vampire, doesn't it. Though those things were pretty undignified but that's what made it even cool, wasn't it to make an arse of yourself and still be…? nah not drunk

Spike came up short and turned around. He'd passed something half a block ago that just registered. Squinting, he shuffles back toward Quatre. Yes, trust one formerly ghosted hisself, that is-]

[quatre is a little taken aback, glancing at spike. then, the dog behind him. the dog that shouldn't be behind him! he makes a frustrated noise. she only sits when he stops walking.]

She isn't my dog.

[so he thinks! if he weren't amnesiac, he would be singing a different tune. not that it quite matters, does it? she hasn't stopped following him yet, and she doesn't seem to be stopping any time soon. it's a little hard to get rid of a ghost intent on making you master.]

[people are watching. this is something to be expected, and quatre noticed after a while. for the most part, he ignores them (the attention is easy to deal with), but someone in particular feels like a discomfort.

he turns to find the person - and notices the dog behind him again. another moment of "sit. stay!" follows, pointless as it is.

after the momentary distraction, he stands still and watches her. that's when he finally notices yuber. it's only a side glance, and he is unsure if he wants to approach.]
