[the screen flickers on, and you see... broken rocks, and shattered trees. Snowdrifts, and the remnants of a fallen building. You see them for the space of a breath, and no longer, as the forge, and whoever carries it, stumbles through the ruins. Their step is jarred, and jarring, and you can hear their breath - shaky and shallow

[Isley almost doesn't believe his eyes. Why doesn't she heal herself? She hasn't had the time. What could have done that to her? Even she doesn't know.. She has powerful reserves she could tap into, but that would mean... She would lose herself.]
[In the end it takes just one word to summon Isley from his residence: --please. His unchecked yoki mixes with Priscilla's. He doesn't care that it's tearing up the earth as he moves, that it would have taken apart his own home had he remained.]
I'll be right there, hold on.

...Isley.
[Priscilla wipes tears from her eyes and leaves behind streaks of red.]
I drove it off. But it's still out here.

[He sounds calm, but his voice is the only shred of him that isn't overwhelmed by blind, animalistic fury.]
It will flee, and if it doesn't, then I will kill it for you.
[He would do it for her.]
I'm close.
[It's the only warning he gives before disconnecting. It's hard to focus on not crushing the Forge and finding Priscilla both, besides.]
[And as soon as the instrument is tucked away, Isley breaks into the Ruins; there is nothing to slow him down, nothing to stand in his way now. He follows her yoki to its source, stopping some feet away at the sight of Teresa's body and severed head...and Priscilla crumpled on the ground.]
[The earth is shaking fiercely between the two of them, and try as he might he can sense nothing through the storm of their energy, nothing at all.]
[He goes to her and kneels at her side.]
Can you stand?

[But she's bleeding, she knows - too much. And her mind is in tatters, like her body - bad enough that she can't quite gather the focus to stop the flow... and she's still shaking when Isley kneels beside her.]
Can't... I don't know. I don't know!
[She takes a breath, unsteady. Uneven.]
My sword! It's-- [Where? And should she even worry about that?] I must have dropped it...

Apparently this one wasn't that smart if they left the pieces lying around. That's just asking to be caught~

[So much stuff she doesn't care about here. She bangs the ground with her remaining fist, and the cobblestones scream and crack.]
I don't care about... any of that!

I don't know what it was. It just came out of nowhere and-- I fought it off, but it ran away, and I don't know what it was, and... [She sob.] Teresa is dead, and...!

[ But she sounds hysteric herself. ]
Is there anyone with you?

Teresa is with me.
[With her, and dead.]

[She's already moving. Danger? Ha! Laugh in the face of danger.]
