The fog rose and a dragon came.

[Isley's voice accompanies the gentle click of his Forge as he turns it on, the gears humming internally, a soft whir of noise that is barely audible against the brush of wind across the speakers. The sword he normally carries at his hip is driven into the earth; he rests his back against the blade and in his lap ( Read more... )

...this place has quite the history, huh.

[Murder, death, suspicion. Blood and mist and panic. Dragons and fireflies... so much history, here. So much spelled out, without caution from this man or reprisal from this place.

Interesting.]

Darkness... hnnn. That... Caretaker's Journal. Know if that's still around?

[Everything he's just told? Is information anyone could find out. There's no point trying to hoard it.]

You might be able to locate a copy from one of the members of the Alliance.

[It's very different from what he's used to--since Edensphere had the nasty tendency to kill people who talked about its past so openly.]

Thanks.

That's everything that's happened from the time you arrived here, then?

Not exactly.

That is everything that has happened...to date. All that the Forges have recorded. I arrived somewhere in the middle, just prior to the siren incident that laid waste, temporarily, to the waterfront.

You're welcome to my notes, Lelouch. This broadcast excluded many of the more graphic details.

I will leave it in my home library for you look through whenever you feel inclined. I would prefer it not to leave, but you are welcome to copy information from it if necessary.

This version, I'm afraid, is lacking in actual details. It is a brief overview of sorts, but if you find it useful, Eddard Stark, then I am glad.

The most important details are there already. The long-lasting days without light and the storms that accompany them are, perhaps, the things to be the most wary of. It grows very cold during that time, as I am sure you can imagine.

[Although extreme cold and heat do not trouble Isley at all.]

Its point was to inform, but if you enjoyed listening, then I am pleased to hear it.

Well it was both informative and enjoyable, as every good reading should be.

So it should be.

[Isley smiles.]

I hope that you need never prepare for the worst, Morgana, but I'm afraid it would be in vain. Be cautious...and if you ever need assistance, you may come to me.

Bedtime story?

[Isley chuckles.]

It is a little lengthy for the likes of that, don't you think?

Some of us don't sleep much at night. Good way to pass the time.
