[Those who know Sebastian might be surprised to catch a glimpse of him now. He's definitely not looking like his usual impeccable self. His clothes are wrinkled and his collar is (gasp!) open, tie missing completely. He might even be paler than usual (it's difficult to tell, given that anemic Victorian complexion). He also appears to be propped up

[Alive. Uneaten. At this point, it's all the same.]
I have received some limited information regarding our UnSubs... ah, the ones responsible, so any extra information you can provide will be extremely helpful.
[There's a pause, then he switches to a Patrol/Police filter. Not that there's many of them still here.]
It's been brought to my attention that we are without many of our numbers. I saw a report that Miss Priscilla had been recovered, but other then that, I am unaware of her current status. Mister Pendragon is still missing, as is Commander Kuchiki of the Police Force.

I'm not sure what you already have heard, so perhaps my information is somewhat redundant. However...
[There's a pause and some shuffling and muffled dialogue in the background. The little girl with the kitten is ushered away temporarily.]
I was witness to an encampment of creatures I don't believe are human. They spoke of retaining magic and being impervious to the effects of the Mist. They also...
[He pauses again, glances around, and lowers his voice slightly.]
Kept a large yard of human bones, which appeared to be gnawed on. I obtained a few samples, which you are more than welcome to examine.
[Because really, it's not every day people stroll in loopy from the Mist and make accusations of cannibalism. He figured it paid to be thorough.]
Between the bone yard and the smell of roasted flesh... I cannot say I got too close to their campfire, Dr. Reid, but the available pieces add up to a rather ghastly picture.

[He is not looking forward to making this announcement, he has no experience in that, it was something that was better left to Hotch and JJ. But he's going to have to, isn't he? Because they aren't here and he won't leave the others of Anatole in the dark about this. They have a right to know. He's just going to have to trust in them that there won't be mass panic and thus, giving the hunters more and easier targets to claim.]
I'll stop by for those samples, it'll help prove this if questions should arrive as to how we came upon this knowledge.
[Because he wouldn't be surprised if the natives believe that they are making up the story just to cover for themselves. Politics. How he hates them.]
So they camp out in the mist then, to protect themselves from us and to attempt to keep us from find them. [Lovely. He's going to have to meet up with Riza and talk to her. Because she has ( ... )

[He nods.]
Thank you. I'm not sure what else I could have done to be useful. Ah-
[Who else did he see? Well, if he'd actually TRIED to rescue some of the others...]
Miss Dawn Summers and I came across each other. It was she who helped me to safety. A friend of hers, a man named Angel, aided me in extricating ourselves from the cages originally. He stayed behind, but Miss Summers insisted upon escorting me to the clinic. I was happy to let her if it meant she was leaving that place as well.
...
Mr. Angel did mention something about a man with a... pet wolf, but I confess I don't know anyone by that description. Much of the escapade was muddled by the toxin I had been given, I'm loathe to admit.

[And she really, honestly means that. Fancy that.]
What is the evidence you have?

[Perhaps his words sound self-berating, but his tone doesn't. He speaks them coolly, like simple facts.]
But your words are kind, Miss Hawkeye, so thank you for them. I'll be returning to my post as soon as I am able, although I may have to request I bring the young master with me. If we are still being preyed on, it would probably be safer for him to be there.
[As for the evidence...]
Dr. Reid has told me others have reported our attackers are cannibalising captives. I collected some samples that should confirm this. He said he will be by to collect them shortly.

Cannibals. Well, that's fun. Hopefully bullets work on these ones.
Where has she been that she missed this information? Oh yeah, busy trying to wrangle the Patrol into something remotely resembling working order.]
What sort of samples are they?
Reply
[Surely he'll be let out by then. He hopes.]
Part of a hand bone, I believe. Or perhaps the lower arm. There is definite sign of gnawing.
[Yum.]

Thank you, Mr. Trickster. How have you been faring in the wake of this crisis?
[AKA are you still moving in? They need that rent money...]

I can't tell you how much I despise that damn Mist and it's effects.
[Totally still moving in as soon as he does some... modifications.]

And yes... it's quite... bothersome.
[He's never had anything Mist-related affect him this greatly, either. It's very displeasing to discover how powerful it is.]

Feeling a bit winded, Sebastian? Should I allow you a hiatus from work, since you seem... tired?
Reply
It is your prerogative to treat me however you wish, sir. I just wanted to inform you of the situation. If you would like to take the time missed out of my wages, that would be fine with me.
[Because, yeah... good luck only giving him part of your soul someday, kid.]
I do hope you've been able to manage without me.
[He remember those like, three hours at the circus where you had to do without him. Not a dignified sight.]
Reply
Of course I've been able to manage. I'm not a child anymore.
[It's funny, because if you only could have seen his earlier message... ah, well. Sebastian's hospitalization makes up for all the embarrassment.]
How long will you be like this, exactly?
Reply
Oh, you aren't? Forgive me, I had not been sent the word on that. [He tilts his head to see how much of Ciel's outfit he can make out.] Your cravat is a tad crooked.
[But hey, better than at the circus, overall.]
I've been told a few hours at most. I am in remarkably good health, apparently.
[You don't say.]
