[He does not recognize this place. It seems similar to Earth, but he was taken from there, should not be there--even as a corner of his mind rails against that, yes, yes, he should be there--but before he has enough time to panic, the strange device chimes at him, and he feels both relieved at the familiarity of his little brother and instantly far more worried, on account of not knowing his brother's whereabouts.]
< Aximili! > [He resists confirming that he too does not know where they are, not wishing to cause his brother any further alarm.] < Can you give me any indication of your location? >
< I am not certain of what this place is, although it does seem reminiscent of Earth. >

< Aximili, what is the last thing you recall before finding yourself here? >
< I was at home, with mother and father. You are supposed to be away at war. >
[He does realize that things are not as they ought to be; how could he not? This strange human city feels like it is crowding him, and though he has found a place where there is grass, and room to run, he does not feel at ease.]
< Do you think that-- > [He does not know how to ask discreetly.] < Are we in danger, big brother? >

< Big brother! >
[His fur fluffs a little after this outburst, and he tries to seem grown-up and capable, even though he is very small.]
< I am in a human park. I was looking for something to eat. Where are we? >
