[ Gwen's Forge is on, showing the interior of the library in Anatole. A purple book is resting next to her, but that's hers, not the library's. And she's not reading that one anyway. What she is reading, from what can be seen of the title, appears to be a book on sign language. And a few French language books

Combat and magic, mostly. What are they charms for?

I mostly use magic for missions and stuff but if it were to help my friends, I'd definitely use it for them.

Uhhh...my world? It's ummm not a lot like this place. I mean, the place I come from is a town on a mountainside. It's kind of quiet, but it's got a really good sunset. Heh, it's actually called Twilight Town for a reason.

Missions? What kind of missions? [ It'd be too much to hope for to think another Plumber was here. ]

[ A thoughtful pause, and she smiles. ] It sounds really nice. [ A laugh. ] And appropriate naming too.

[There's definitely a mental facepalm at himself for a second before he responds.] Just recon...fighting monsters. That kind of thing.

Yeah, it's really a great place. What about yours?

Aliens?

My home? Well, I guess it's not too different from Anatole. It's a small town, relatively quiet, with a few exceptions. There are only two schools, a public and a private one.

[Audio]

Nope, just monsters. I guess you could say they're a lot like the ones in the mist.

Are aliens those "few exceptions"?

[Audio]

Yeah, though they weren't all aliens. Some were just troublemakers in general.

So you normally fought them, huh?

[Audio]

[anodite_spark]

Yeah - we were the only ones who could at the time, since Bellwood seems to have been the hub for alien contact. It was kind of our mission.

Sounds weird. Did you ever find out why aliens liked going there?

[Audio]

[anodite_spark]

Well it wasn't exactly their pick of a vacation spot. Most of the aliens we encountered there were trouble makers, or on the run from bigger troublemakers. Or they came to pick a fight with my cousin.

Why your cousin?

[Audio]

[anodite_spark]

He's saved the world more than once - so if any of their plans is going to succeed, they would have to get him out of the way first.

Why's your world so important? [Yes, that's a genuine question.]

[Audio]

What do you mean?

[Audio]

[key_destination]

Well...if you think about it, there's tons of worlds out there. The aliens probably have a lot of choices if they know of other worlds. But why's yours so important that it gets attacked so many times?
