[L blinks slowly. And switches over to voice, honestly baffled and determined to understand this... situation.
Children obtaining such advanced equipment is troubling and, annoyingly, that includes himself, though it may or may not be Watari's doing. The man tends to space out gifts, aware of his distaste for the holidays. He inhales and speaks:]
[It doesn't seem like he'll be getting an answer anytime soon. Certainly no from the overwhelming network of children.]
It's a bit complicated to explain. [Not really. But to a child? Though luggables are definitely far too advanced - wasn't it last year that it was released?] Are you in an unfamiliar room, too?

[Although they'd only spoken briefly, it's evident that this voice is higher, younger, than it had been. And - well, although he seems fine, albeit... de-aged, for want of a better term, it doesn't hurt to check. He's a source of potential information for Sasuke, after all.]
...Ryuga-san?
I take it you have been affected by the... odd happenings.
[VOICE - PRIVATE] - ahah, it's fine -- and good luck with this. *dies*l_shruggedAugust 28 2010, 17:10:45 UTC
[Oh, it's already set as private.
And the voice is most certainly not that of a child and he eyes eyes the crowd warily, deciding to find a safer spot within the library. That's the sound of scuffling initially filling the voice.
Ryuga-san?
Odd happenings.

I am fine.

[The odd turns of phrase make it difficult to ascertain what he means. Difficult to tell whether he retains his memories, or whether he's simply overly unfriendly. Overly cautious.]
I'm glad to hear that.
You expect it to end shortly? So you expect everyone to return to their ages?
I am simply contacting you out of... concern.
[He doesn't say whether it's concern for his wellbeing, or concern for his ability to help him still.]

[L is frowning as he seeks the building labelled "SCHOOL" - and it's very frustrating weaving through the natives who have been less than useful in locating the girl's location.]
Return to their ages.
[L glances around briefly.]
Would you like to elaborate on what you mean?
[Because it's likely very different than the way L's picking apart and interpreting the statement.]
L's eyes are half-lidded, frustrated, and a very poor babysitter it is turning out. [Wide eyes blink down at the PRIVATE flashing, indicating that the man on the other side is well aware of the device's features, though he doesn't exactly. Follow. None of the adults that agree to speak with him are very useful.]

... I am.
[Perhaps Watari would scold him for this...]
I need you to find an adult to give the radio to immediately. It's important. Make sure you're around other adults when you give it to him.

What's 'luggable' mean? And 'camera' and 'phone'?

I can understand complicated things, Mister.
I was! But I left there a while ago. I'm looking for my sister.
