[The transmission quality is pretty bad, tinny with intermittent static. Her voice, to those who know it's nuances well enough, sounds a little embarrassed and a little... frightened? Or it could just be the poor audio playing tricks on you.]

[A scowl. No, voice-only wouldn't work in this situation. He should have remembered that. He switches to video reluctantly, not bothering to filter the post because it's unlikely Riza is in any state of mind to do so as well.]

There is no base. Get inside, away from the mist.

... Where am I? I'm not sure how I got here. I don't know where to go. There are no doors, just... mist. Walls. I...

[EVE is backed by a wall of mist: she wandered outside and fell victim to the maze as well. She looks nervous, but is obviously trying to appear calm for Riza's sake. It's not quite working]

Riza? It is EVE. I appear to be lost as well.

Eve? [She sounds a little confused, like she's not quite sure if she recognizes EVE.]

[Riza's confusion only aids EVE's nervousness, and there's a long pause in which she glances away before looking back]

[She's actually going to skip right over that question, for the moment.] Are you near any defining features? I could try and locate you?

I... I can't see anything but mist.

[EVE is clearly distressed and Riza struggles, sure she knows her somehow.] What about near you? Any landmarks that could help me find you?

Riza, you're in Anatole, you're not in...[She can't remember the name] your world. [She so badly wants to run out to find her but she remembers what happened last time she did that.]

Get inside. Find some shelter wherever you can find it. Something is very wrong with the mist today.

[The voice is familiar but she's disoriented and having trouble placing it.]
