I have gone from being the one who never posts to posting daily. I seem to be doing this as a way of avoiding the twitter-like posts that happen with facebook, instead I throw a paragraph up here and feel like I have done something worthwhile. getting back into shape.
I have been bragging to all my friends that I am now a two sport athlete: Hockey(beginner league) and curling(referred to by some as Canadian bowling). Although I have to agree that I am not exactly tearing it up on the ice I am making a pretty serious effort to get back into shape(although the burger I had last night would no doubt dispute that). So yesterday I started my facebook site and I have filled up a page of friends. I have found a friend from high school who I had not heard from in a decade easily. I also got friended(and subsequently friended) someone I kind of remember, but not really. Happy New Year
I went to the geek fest at a friend's house for New year's eve. It was great fun, got to rock out(only a bit) on Rock Band, then played Magic: TCG and got smashed by several people. I have to remember that trash talk leads to people ganging up on you. After that I learned to play left 4 dead, a first person shooter set in the zombie apocalypse. It ( Read more... ) -
Iphone
For those who don't know, I lost my phone when I was in Pa in november. Yesterday my wife and I went to the AT&T store and ended up with Iphones. It turns out that it won't cost us any extra to have them above and beyond our old cellular plan. We also got a good deal on the phones because we have had our old phones so long.
