"All we have to decide is what to do with the time we are given." You do the best that you can. If that's not enough, then you do it anyway. "There never was much hope, only a fool's hope." And yet they continued it 'till the end, never submitting. And in the end, as Tolkien himself said, the Quest failed. In the end, it was chance ("as they say in Middle Earth," Tolkien called it Divine Providence) that saved it. And while you may trust in Eru to provide, that is not license to abrogate your responsibility to do everything in your power to also provide. With the CD thingy, I've got a complete (two-disc) soundtrack of ANH that I'm quite fond of. That's what I'm hoping they do with LotR.
And while you may trust in Eru to provide, that is not license to abrogate your responsibility to do everything in your power to also provide.
