Hmmm...see, if I won a free trip to the moon, of course I would want to visit the moon...however, I would have very little interest in making the trip. If I got a free TARDIS ride to the moon, though, I'd be there in a heartbeat. But TARDIS rides are another story entirely. ^_^

What you said. TARDIS yes, spaceship no way. *shudders*

I would do this in a heartbeat.

The first item on my bucket list is "see Earth from high orbit," so yeah, the Moon would be even more awesome.

I feel the same way, but if you review the answers, you'll find that it's split about in half, with most of the no answers admitting to fear of one sort or another.

Yeah...I might actually have to pass on that one, too. Space scares the crap out of me. It's awesome in the best sense of the word and it's amazing and beautiful and *terrifying.* I actually told Lucas that the only way I'd go to space were if our child were an astronaut who flew tourist trips to other planets, and I were 99 years old, and they offered to take me somewhere in space for free. If those conditions were met...maybe. :)

If Sir Richard offered you a seat on the VSS Enterprise, you wouldn't go? Like an hour, round trip!

I'd go, but I'd more trust NASA of 1969, with unlimited budget and enormous attention to failsafes. Not so much NASA of 1971-present with political pressures.
