First, a bit of election-day fun.  (It cheerfully pokes fun at both sides, so don't worry.)

Second, why don't we have any candidates calling for outlawing paid lobbyists?  'Cause I would vote for him/her in a heartbeat.

Umph. There are degrees in these things; some politicians are less bad than others. Though I have to admit that I think there's much to be said for having a head of state who is appointed by other means than politics - as long as they're not given the power of the American head of state...

I absolutely agree with your comments on the economy, though.
