Do we need to start a brand new story, or can we continue with something we've already started?

You can continue a story, but you need to lock and/or remove it. Just be sure no updating the story on your journal until the posting date.

Hmm.. Considering the uproar I've gotten for being slow to update, I think I'd better just start a new one. Thanks!

I have a quick question. Can our story be a sequel to a previous story?

Yup. The only thing I ask is that if there are parts of the sequel already posted that you pull it down until posting time. :)

Question. What happen if you get writer's block and have a hard time finishing your story by the deadline? Sometimes I get I wicked case of it.

You get banished. Forever. LOL

Seriously, I understand how it is. You can write 10k easily and then the next 200 words take two weeks to write. Don't worry.

If you can't finish your story, then it's ok. As long as the effort is there, then I have no problems with it. When you get done, if it's after the posting date, then post it here. :)

Out of curiosity .... is 25,000 a definite limit? Does it matter if we go over that or would that be a major problem?

Oh no, you can totally go over the 25k limit. The more words, the merrier. :D
