There is snow on the ground. Winter has begun. I am not prepared - I don't have winter boots yet.
Now begins seven months of misery.

I HATE winter. I hate all winter sports. I hate feeling cold. I don't drive and I hate walking outside on slippery sidewalks.

When I retire I am getting the hell out of Canada for the winter. Too bad I am nowhere ( Read more... )

We just got RockBand 2 for the Xbox360 yesterday

I hate snooow... It JUST started snowing in toronto. Ewww, it's still staying on the ground

We have Rockband 2 as well, we should play together :)

Let's buy cheap property in Florida and use it as a winter vacation getaway :)

Snow. I haven't seen snow fall where I live in years. Serves me right for living at a low elevation in California. But yes, the good news is winter preparations in Sacramento don't involve a whole lot. Boots? We just need thicker socks.

Well, there are times I get jealous of folks with a real Winter. California weather is on anti-depressants. Exept for places in the Sierras or in Death Valley.

I'm going to be in for a HUGE shock to my system when I get home... lol
Not to rub it in or anything, but it's SO HOT here in Australia right now. It's around 30C everyday, SUNNY with next to no clouds ever... it's just beautiful. I'm going to miss this soon.

And as for Rockband - how is it on the PS3? I've only played it on the 360, and love that you can download all the extra songs each week. Is that possible with the PS3?
....I say as I'll be in the market for some electronics upon my return. And Rockband of some flavour is 100% on the list.

Bah!! I wish I was in Australia. Daryl and I will actually be there in February for a few days.

Yes, you can download songs and play online with PS3 Rockband 2. The game is kickass. It would be super fun to play together!

Just reminding you that you don't have to wait till you retire to escape the snow, just move out west :)
