The local gas station has a special World Cup offer. Whenever a football match is going on, you can get a premium car wash for less than half the price. Now is Schnurblecar rather filthy outside, full of pollen, dust, dead flies and bird sh*t, and could make good use of a wash. This morning I went to ATU to leave my car there for exchanging the windshield, and they were closed. Seems like they shortened their opening times. Saturday was a wonderfully sunny day, and Hubby and I went to Heidelberg for sushi, shopping etc. Unfortunately, while driving there, a little stone flew into my windshield on the Autobahn, and left a damage that's too big to be repaired, so I'll need a new windshield. ( Read more... )

Yesterday I left Schnurblecar with ATU (a garage chain) to have its annual inspection done. They changed oil, a fuel filter and the windscreen-wipers. They didn't find anything broken, but then the TÜV was only a few weeks ago, so I would have been surprised if they did ( Read more... )
