The local gas station has a special World Cup offer. Whenever a football match is going on, you can get a premium car wash for less than half the price. Now is Schnurblecar rather filthy outside, full of pollen, dust, dead flies and bird sh*t, and could make good use of a wash. But somehow I always came home from work shortly after the afternoon

antenna vs. aerial

Minor nitpick, since it's something my father used to chide me about -- some consider antenna to refer only to an insect's feelers (pl. antennae); the radio/television reception thingy is an aerial.

(On the other hand, this may be a British thing.)
