I'll give you weak, but the weakest? You really think Live Free and Die Harder is better?

Yes. Standing on the wing of plane and all. I think this one is the weakest because it misunderstands the DH formula, and the central character. Second weakest is LFDH because it is ridiculously over the top, but it's a much more focused movie. DH2 has too many characters, doing too many different things.

Live Free or Die Hard
Die Harder

See, I gotta swap the first two and the last two. The only thing I remotely liked about LFDH was that I know for a fact that Kevin Smith rewrote all his own lines, and that Justin Long suffered.

Yup, trying too hard sounds right. And I kinda think it lacks the joy? fun? that's in all the other DH movies.

It's not a bad movie at all but compared to the utter awesome of the first, ow.

I think some of the deaths in the movie are pretty neat. Death by icicle and being minced in an airplane engine in particular.
