Grey Hound bus goes everywhere or fly its taking place at the airport. I live in the Bay Area but I'm not that into Yaoi, I'm unemployed and broke too so going just for something to do is out. Good luck

I think that as far as venues go, Blu or Vertical would be the best way to go in terms of trying to petition them. I do not think that June manga is the best venue as that one deals in contemporary yaoi/shounen ai. Blu I think would release as well as Vertical (because they've done many from that series of women mangaka in that time period). So if you see representatives for Blu, then I'd definitely make the suggestion out to them too.

I'm not into yaoi myself and live too far away, but I say that in general it would be great if we could petition them! And while we have mentioned a specific company before, I think it can't hurt to talk to many publishers about this!

If anyone *is* going, let us know what happens. Oh, and if you send me a private message in advance, I had a thought I wanted to mention.

Hopefully I will get to go, myself. Not sure at the moment but I'm still trying. :)

I'm pretty sure someone from DMP or June will be at YaoiCon, rather than just a seller. I'm not sure if other people in the business, per se, will be available to grab like that. Well, Yamila Abraham of Yaoi Press most likely will be, but she goes everywhere and Yaoi Press is way too intense and independent. They couldn't take us on, not at the stage they're at...

Anyway, I do absolutely feel like it's good to speak to people in person, so even if I don't get to YC I'll track someone down at Pacific Media Expo, and then Anime LA. As many people as I can grab! :) Blu and Vertical are excellent, hope I can track them down! Thank you for bringing them up.
