Yeah, it may be the only movie based on a book that I think is better... just because it sounds like the actors are trying to actually make the characters believable and cut down on the cheesy over the top dialogue.

Fiesty!Bella and disturbed!Edward actually make for interesting dynamics!

I have been thinking this when RPattz started talking about how disturbed and creepy Edward is.

Yup, me too, and I felt the need to announce it to the world. xD My biggest disappointment with the Twilight books was that they SMeyer didn't harness the opportunity for a really creepy and disturbing kind of relationship.

(I mean, it WAS, but it wasn't intended to be that way... it's supposed to be read as "OMG BEST THING EVAR!")

I am not much into reading a creepy and disturbing kind of relationship IF the relationship is the main focus of the book, which it is in Twilight, so I obviously wouldn't be fond of it much anyways. But that is way better then being presented as an ideal which it does come across that way.

I tend to prefer my disturbing relationships couched with other things going on.
