One month until I move to Sarasota. This is crazy, you guys. CRAZY. Also, one month until I turn 18. Why must I always be so much younger than everyone else? Oh well. bah! I am so not better than you. I am this good (read: not that good) because I've been drawing since I was three! Constantly! while neglecting absolutely everything else. This is what I do. THIS IS THE PRICE I PAY. *stares at report cards*

Here is to hoping Sarasota and art school doesn't disappoint you. It is a really nice area. I use to visit it all the time when I was going to school in Tampa.

I know I'm awful late, for which I apologize (the worst! Always!), but I wanted to say: moving from one place all the way to another somewhere far away, in my experience, is rarely easy. But it's important to remember things will get better. Homesickness will ease, then dissipate for the most part, and the people you love will still be there for you.

I hope you have fun at Sarasota!! I mean, yes, I WILL MISS TWITTERING AT YOU ALL DAY (ha ha, as if I will no longer twitter at you all day. Sorry, Shelbs, it's too late now; you're stuck with me), but that's the way it's gotta be. I'm sure you'll have a BLAST and that this is only the first great magnificent step on the path to your ultimate reveal as Shelby C., Chief-Master of Pixar. On that day, I hope you will be merciful to the lesser mortals.
