I couldn't decide between nurses or maids, so I went with personal preference but like, maybe I could introduce a maid in scene seven. Or would that be overdoing it? Too much of a good thing or whatever.

Yeah. I think they're kind of too distracting for him. [ 'kind of' obviously being an understatement, as the puppy completely ignores the ball in favour of continuously running around in circles after them. ]
