That nutty GOOBER has returned!

It's been at least a month, I think, since I last saw Goober, who along with Peanut is my "best squirrel friend." What I mean is, Peanut is my fave furry friend, and Goober is a very close second. :) I don't know what kept Goober away for so long (sowing his wild oats, perhaps?), but he's back and as happy as ever! Glad Goober visited. I get so worried about my little ones when I don't see them for even a couple days. I have visitors daily because my tiny yard seems to be squirrel central, but they aren't always ones I recognize. Yesterday I had two - and one, I'm pretty sure was Chester. I saw Stumps on Friday and she seems to be doing OK. There's even some fur growing on the stump. I try to make sure she gets yummy stuff when I see her ( ... )

I hate it when there's a squirrel roadkill, or similar. Glad yours are keeping well. :)

Well that's good. We don't have much roadkill on my small street, but we have feral (and not feral) cats roaming the neighborhood. I haven't lost any squirrels that I know of, but they to get scared away by the cats. I almost always run the cats off the property when I see them.

I was worried at the beginning of the month though. We had a big festival going on at the beach that's a block from my house. I was worried because of all the extra cars, people, and fair food. Stubbs survived, though she does look a little more plump. Her tail's back though, so I may have to start calling her Tubbs.
