LOL!! My problem is I'm too nice to say something like that when I responded to my friend. (I'm always worried I'm going to hurt someone's feelings, even when there's really nothing to worry about).

I am not sure why you seem to think this is funny or even worth blogging on. Perhaps I am missing the humor in it. My friends and I do this exchange every summer, as most flip-flops wear out after a year or so, and can also be cute gifts for friends in the summer. While it seems that you have completely missed the point, at least you let your friend know.
