Double the fun: 2 memes in one! :D

Jul 12, 2008 22:10

I was recently tagged by justjesi and beckerbuns for this meme, except that each friend's version is slightly different. Most of the questions are the same, but some were unique, so I tried to answer everything. Additionally, I added one question of my own creation at the end, just for fun. :)

25 rather revealing things about Scary Shari! )

I'm totally there with you on having a B & B! I love staying in them, and each time we do, I get the crazy urge to go and buy one!

I love this meme. It is great to learn new things about friends, even when I thought I knew most of the important stuff about you already!

What new stuff did you learn about me from this meme? :) Now you got me curious!

BTW, I *love* that new icon of Misty! It's so cute and expressionful! Plus, of course, I love the purple colour you used. ;D Here's my spin on the "wut?" icon!

#s 19, 20, 22, for example. Never knew those things about you. :)

And thanks for the compliment about the icon. It was begging to be done! (Got someone in baby_graphix to do it for me!)

Hey it was cool learning more about you! We definitely have some things in common... ;-)

As for having kids I think the way you see things now is maybe because you are not in a relationship, once you get madly in love with someone you want to spend your life with the concept of "fabricating" a life together and watching it grow together is pretty appealing... :-)

I'm glad you got to learn some new things about me via this meme. :) That's one of the reasons I love doing memes like this, in fact! As you've probably guessed by now, I'm a very open and sharing person. :D

You comment is interesting, and I see the logic in it, but I don't really think the way I feel about not having kids will change when I get into a long-term relationship. I wanted to have kids all of my life, which was actually spent more often NOT in relationships than in them. Heck, even as a child and a teen, I "knew" I wanted kids. Also, my last relationship was with a guy who I could totally see myself marrying, and with whom I was happier than anyone before that! :) However, even with him, I'd already noticed that my feelings about kids were definitely moving in the direction of not having them.

Anyhoo, I'm not completely ruling out having kids. But now that I'm on some online dating sites, I definitely stay away from the guys who indicate that they "definitely want kids", because even just reading that phrase scares me! :

I think just as long as you say "I don't know" you are being honest and life will take you in one direction or the other. :-)
But I would stick with the guys that say "I don't know" just on the off chance!... LOL

My cousin married a guy that absolutely, definitely, didn't want kids (and didn't want to get married LOL!) now they have 2 pre-teen daughters... ;-)
