My new SWEET TREATS layout: your feedback?

I just wondered what you all think of the renovation to my journal? :) I liked my old template, but when I saw this one among the newer templates, I fell in love! *giggle* Bright, cheerful, festive colors and frilly, yummy sweet treats and baked goods -- how could I resist? Is this "me", or what? *skips like a kid in a candy store

Hmm.. the bug isn't happening for me, and I'm using Firefox on Windows XP. :)

It's so cuuuuuute! I think my favorite is the cake with the slice taken out of it. That or the swirly (saltwater taffy?) things. *grin*

I'm thinking of changing my layout too, since I'm just using some boring no-frills one. I used to have a graphics-heavy layout, but for some reason it started heavily bugging so I switched it. The only thing is, I don't know what kind of layout I want! So many choices! *grin*

Ohhh btw before I forget - did you get my response about meeting next week? If not, then a recap: both Phillip and I can meet up with you for dinner before the show! And did you have any kind of food or place in mind? :)

I'm glad the bug doesn't happen in Firefox; thanks for letting me know. And I already know Safari is OK. How odd that it only happens in Explorer, which normally is the "default browser" that everyone has in mind when writing/coding websites to work properly to begin with! This is SOOO weird

Hmmm... I'm not sure if there's a Denny's or Baker's Square-like place in Castro itself, but there's probably a place like that nearby on El Camino. :) I wonder if there's a Holder's Country inn-type place nearby (mmm egg dishes.... now that I think of it.. haha

*giggle* That sounds like just the type of remark you would add! ;) I bet you weren't on a laptop when you "sampled" the desserts, were you? Otherwise, they would have tasted like liquid crystal! BAHAHAHA!! I'm so witty I kill myself. ;D

Your new layout is mouth-wateringly adorable! ;) Those cupcakes look tempting! I think it's very well-suited to you and I like the lavender color in the background too. I haven't had any problems with viewing it though.

Thanks! I like the sprinkle-topped cuppycakes too! ;D And of course the lavender along the sides, since it is a shade of PURPLE, my fave color. heh I sure wish I could come up with something so beautiful and creative and yummy as this template, but all the credit goes to Tiffany Chow, the gal whose name appears at the bottom of the left-hand sidebar. I've no idea who she is, other than someone who apparently designs blog templates. I ought to visit her website some time! :)

BTW, I'm glad you didn't have any problems with the bug I mentioned -- what web browser are you using?

I have looked at your layout with both Internet Explorer (at work) and on Firefox (at home) and had no problem with either.

LOL! Your icon is sooooo perfect in conjunction with exclaiming that you want to eat my journal!! :D Actually, I wouldn't mind gobbling up some of those desserts myself, especially the cupcakes and the ice cream sundae! Darn that sweet tooth! heh
