Customer Suckage... ..."That's NOT how the cheese cooks!!"

Okay, to recap I am a Subway sandwich artist. Despite being told by my manager (who is awesome) the day I started that we have a lot of "assholes", I really have not dealt with too many Sucky Customers over the nearly three months I have worked at this one ( Read more... )

I had a customer once pay me in $26.00 of mixed change. But she was a child and we weren't busy.

LOL! Like I just told Katie, I don't mind the change thing. Normally. (Unless I have a large amount of every coin imaginable and am about to have to do a cash-in just before a normal rush time. Grr.) It was more that she made me dig the change out, like she couldn't be bothered to do it herself.

I have been known to pay McDonald's snack wraps in change, but nothing normally over $2. The Subway in the town where I work is PSYCHO! They count out the olives 1-2-3-4-5 and the pickles 1-2-3 and the tomatoes 1-2 (this is all for a 6 inch, mind you)

Thanks for the warning about the pizza cheese--I don't think I'll be getting one now, I'm sure their yummy, but I just don't think I want burned looking cheese (yes, I know it's not burned, the cheese is just dark--but still)

Now I don't actually mind the paying in change (usually), it's the fact that this woman gave me her changepurse that was filled with so many pennies I had to dump the entire thing out on the counter in the middle of a big lunch rush to find the $1.05 (and it ended up being mostly nickels).

And hehe, my old Subway used to be like that--thank God this one isn't. Though I've started sticking to the formulas a bit more now because it actually does make the sandwich easier to close. (Though the actual formula is 3 pickles, bannana peppers, olives, whatever, and also 3 tomatoes. Unless they're abnormally large LOL.)

The pizzas are really good, but I get that. Though someone the customers_suck community did point out that it's because a toaster oven cooks from top to bottom.
