Love it. Love how both Flack and Stella understand Mac. Love Mac's guilt and how even all these years later he's still having nightmares. I like the parts dealing with Mac's childhood in Chicago, and what happened with him an Jimmy. I thought everyone was very in character - Danny would be the one to get drunk the fastest! ! I thought it was very in character too for Stella to be a bit pissed off with Mac, and for it not being because of Drew - I got the impression she was more pissed off because he'd kept the whole motel room incident from her. I like that he did keep it from her - Stella may have been Mac's rock after 9/11, and she may be his closest friend, but she's not entitled to know every single thing about him. So I think that though ahe was pissed at Mac for keeping what happened at the end, when they were 'good' again, it was because he knew he shouldn't really have kept it from her, but she knew that Mac was entitled to his privacy, and understood why he kept it from her. Privacy is not something Stella is very good with, ( ... )
