Things that make me *squee*
Off to Sacramento on Wedsnesday to spend some time with family, On the 11th we are going to San Francisco on our own (my mum, my sister and me) and then flying back on the 15th. Reasons I am happy
1) For the past couple of years, I have been working a job share with a colleague. Originally the share was pretty much a straight split down the middle, with me doing about 17/18 hours a week. Then my colleague needed more time off (her mum is unwell) and so they asked me if I'd work 27 hours of the full 37 instead, with my partner doing 10 hours ( Read more... ) -
CSI NY
CSI NY hasn't been as good as it used to be, and the main reason for this is that all characters, including the city itself, seem to be being underused, or stuck in a rut.
Mac:
I love Mac, I do, and he's always lovely to look at, but Gary Sinise is an incredibly talented actor, and Mac is a character that used to be complex and versatile and deep. ( Read more... ) -
Life
I am now back at York Central Library....oops, I stand corrected. It is now Explore York Library Learning Centre. The dreaded public will not be admitted until the 24th May, which means I can have another month without having to worry about being accosted by my least favourite customers, or any customers at all, in fact. Good things
1) The toes are much better. Still itchy and occasionally painful, but much better than they were on Weds and Thurs when I actually decided not to go to work. My boss called on Weds after I'd texted a colleague asking her to let them know I wouldn't be in, to check I was okay and assure me it would be okay not to go in on Thurs.
