maximum gayness: blue & gold, john sheppard, lindsay monroe

In lieu of a rant that seems to be brewing about heteronormativity and the absurdity of a bipolar conception of gender and sexuality...

Here are some things that are so gay in my head that they're almost anomolous.

You know, rationally I do understand that Booster Gold and Blue Beetle are not going to start making out as soon as they get a ( Read more... )

All in all, it's not unlike the way I can't even imagine John Sheppard having sex with a woman. I can't. It's just... not natural. Which in itself is bizarre because 99% of the time I presume a basic bisexuality to all characters. Ditto on both counts. Sheppard and sex with a woman - I just don't see it. John having sex with Rodney though...

That's not a controversial theory - that's the best theory ever and it has just become my personal canon, because, well - YES!!!

I recognize that John was married and therefore, logically, *must* have had sex with a woman at least a couple times, but my brain refuses to comprehend it. I mean, the sex had to have been... awkward... what with John liking cock so much.

(I'm not sure what's wrong with me.)

I mean, I find myself attracted to John because he is a very attractive man, but it's a very strange, platonic attraction because I can't imagine having sex with him. I can't even want to have sex with him because obviously I would require a penis first.

(No, really. I'm sorry. I don't know what's wrong with me.)

*ahem*

I'm glad you like my Controversial Theory. It came to mind way back when the finale aired, but I felt it was Controversial enough that I only shared it with stellaluna-. ...Frankly, I think a quiet psychotic break on Lindsay's part would explain so much about her character's inconsistancies.

Oh--and yay on you having bigbang thoughts!
