I loved it. Thank you very much.

It was dark and said enough, keeping a degree of uncertainty and a few questions that still need answers.

A sequel would be great ^_^

I'm very glad you like the story, and I'm sorry it took so long to get written.

I'll see what I can do with a sequel, because I do have a couple ideas for a subsequent earthside piece from Carson's pov.

Never watched SGA, but had to squeeee in SEATTLE PRIDE cause yeah. Pearl Jam. At Benaroya Hall, no less. Not to mention I really like Black-- it's one of my favorites of theirs.

Yeah, I have a longstanding love of Pearl Jam. "Black" has never been one of my very favorites, but I love that particular live version, and how the audience sings the bridge of "I know someday you'll have a beautiful life..." (It's one of my great frustrations that I still haven't been to a Pearl Jam concert.)

Oh dear. My real life's been kind of crazy lately, then with the holidays too I kind of got half-way through and forgot all about it. If someone else is on the waiting list for John/Rodney, you can go ahead and give it to them, but could I possibly re-claim later?

Okay, cool. :) Yeah, I'm still working on it, especially now that you reminded me about it. The past couple months I've had a strangely difficult time working from prompts, but it's coming together.

Excellent character piece, and just...wow. All sharp edges and brittle and absolutely perfect in taht way. Oh, Carson has an inkling all right. Wonderful, and I'd love to see it continued gen. Slash, too, but this doesn't need anything else in it; it's lovely as it is. Thank you!

Thank you. Yes, that "I have an inkling" line rather stuck with me. :) I do indeed have a notion for continuing this from Carson's pov, and it seems somewhat slashy... though I don't have any intentions for, hmm, romance.
