As someone commented, this is just enough said. It was a punch to the gut in a good way. I'd love to read a sequel to this or an extension of this fic. Especially since you list it as pre-slash (Beckett/Sheppard squee!)

Thank you. I do have a notion for a sequel set while they're earthside before "The Intruder" but it may be a while in coming.

I absolutely love when writers delve into the reality of how the situations the characters are in would affect them. This story does that quite well!

Also, I never really thought about MIA vs AWOL in Ford's case - that was a nice touch.
