Potlatch: The beginning

Potlatch has been ramping up the last couple of days, with friends in from out of town and opportunities for excellent company. Thursday night, I had a fine dinner of Chinese food with jackwilliambell, davidlevine and kateyule. Friday, Jack and I had Indian food with mcjulie and paulcarp.

It is a very nice day outside. I had a very lovely motorcycle ride.

Sadly, the ride ended with me back in the office to work on a project that is very behind schedule.

The upside is that I get a nice ride on the way home after my work is done.

It sounds like great fun. I sympathize on your weather dilemma. The weather here has been gorgeous for the last two days. Obviously warming up for your arrival.

It's actually ROAARS -- I think it was wrong in the program book. And, as I heard it explained later (having arrived too late myself), it's Race, Orientation, Age, Ability, Religion, and Sex. I don't know if it's in a specific order, or just handily arranged into an acronym.
