Sad. 2009, outta here. And if they wanted us to vote for mayor, they would have given us candidates. I mean really. I have no idea either. Dither.

hmmm .... let's see...

Today's another "too bored AND busy at work (lots of dull work) to update LJ like I want to" Day.

Today's Another "Wish the prof were quicker with the lecture posting so I'd be done with this unit already" day.

Today's another "what the hell did I just do getting the degree when they're talking about closing libraries down!" day.

Today's another "Why can't this stupid election be over so I can stop hearing about those stupid inititives???!!" day.

And as for Mayor, my mind was made up waaaaaaay back when McGinn said he wanted to replace the viaduct with Nothing. I'm sorry, no, that's not an option. Plus his dreamy staring-off-into-the-distance campaign pictures really rub me the wrong way.

Other than that, I'm fine.

It's gray and gloomy here, too.

I am going out, though probably not spending much money...and that's after work, which is paying me some.

No cats; allergic.

I don't have to pick a mayor, since they're elected by and from the city council. (Weak mayor/city manager system.) I do have to figure out who I'm voting for for CC, though, and in what order. (Single transferable vote, so I can rank them. There's no "No Award" option, though.)

My life...yeah, I'm asking myself that question a bunch lately too. Um.

I'm hoping for a good evening of boardgaming tonight, and a better next couple of days and on into the weekend...and better days for you as well.
