Terry Pratchett

I've never read a Terry Pratchett book. I know, I know. You don't have to say it. I never had the privilege of meeting the man. Here's what I want to say about his passing. It is probably (almost certainly) redundant to suggest this, and I beg your forgiveness. Of Sir Terry's works, it is probably best not to start at the beginning. Colour of Magic and Light Fantastic are good, but not great. This, by his own acknowledgement.
And from the same source, Nation is great. Not a Discworld book. And maybe not even much of a fantasy book, in many senses. Honestly, not my personal favorite. However, it is, according to Sir Terry, the best book he ever wrote. That may be worth something.
My favorites... change, from one day to the next. I will, happily, lend you almost any of them (my copy of Good Omens was signed by him, and Neil Gaiman, so I am reluctant to allow it to leave the house).
