Yes, yes, I know. All things considered, these are good things that are stressing me out. But the stress shouldn't be underestimated. This afternoon saw me pacing the house like a caged tiger, eating more than I should, and putting a lot of pressure on myself about my performance with the skills assessment work. I know how fortunate I am that these are all good things. But, still, stressful....

Oh dear - I didn't mean that in the way I think you heard it at all!

I really meant "yay for the kind of problem that means choices" - I get the stress - I wasn't trying to make that unimportant at all! Ya know, "a good sort of busy" like everyone else with a brain said...

Oh pooh - I really was trying for "cheering up" - and failed utterly. I'm very sorry!

Please don't worry! If I heard it differently than you meant it, it's completely on me. I have another friend who, when I talk like this, responds with the intention of providing perspective (and not always in a nice way) rather than with the intention of cheering me up or encouraging me, so I've been conditioned to be a little gun-shy. My apologies. Thank you for the cheering--seriously. I get so deep in my own head sometimes that I forget to just lighten the hell up. :-)
