A week shy of six months, my marriage is over. I'm still going on to New Orleans, he's going back to Argentina.
I guess this is what I wanted.

Ahhhh.
I once again have a car, internet, and very very soon a job. I have new orleans to look forward to. Life is getting back on track. There is a weird sort of 'underground man' joy in being a mess, but now that the mess is bring ordered, it feels good.

yo yo. so it's sure i'm coming back to new orleans. had a crazy couple of weeks. two car accidents in one week, totaled car on second one, the one that's my fault. quit my job last monday since it was pretty impossible without a car and i hate relying on others. i miss my coworkers though. sat in my apartment going crazy with no tv/internet/car/ ( Read more... )

Now nothing is settled yet, it's all still being worked out, BUT, it looks like Mariano and I are moving back to New Orleans in August/September!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am SO EXCITED!!!!!
I hope it all works out!

ALMOST SPRING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I got a kitten, who is currently scratching me trying to eat my hair!

How ridiculous. My mom sent a mini (9-piece) box of chocolates from a really nice place with a card saying to share with mariano. Now, i have had a scorpion bowl and a headhunter at an asian place. i think the fact that she told me to share plus how excellent the chocolate is, i just ate them all and hid the packaging. how lame ( Read more... )
