Vincent had kept the potion as long as he could barely, the sleeping draught was kept in the box under his floorboard, when Friday evening came, he waited aslong as he could before pouring the vial's contents into his uncles tea.
It was miraculous how much effect ir already had and then left the house, to catch the knight bus and to meet Scarlette at the Leaky Cauldron.
Smiling at him, Scarlette lead him slowly through the living room and stopping at a doorway. "My bedroom's downstairs, in the basement. We have three bedrooms upstairs and then mines down there."
She opened the door and flicked on the light that illuminated the stairs. They there were, so close. And Scarlette couldn't have felt more nervous if she tried.
Vincent nodded, he watched her eyes flickering back and forth, he smiled brightly, trying to calm his nose, he took her hand, and led her down the stairs, eyes soft, into the darkness of her room, turning on the light as they come.
As they stepped into the familiar light of her bedroom, Scarlette was thankful that she kept it clean. Looking at Vincent, she lead him further into the room, feeling her arms start to shake.
Her nerves were going crazy and even though she tried desperately to calm herself, it was near impossible to do. Without saying a word, she moved closer to Vincent, facing him and ending up less than an inch away.
Vincent looked down at her, with soft green eyes, he could sense her nerves, and to calm her he held her close to him, arms secure resting his cheek against hers, just to preserve the moment a while, to help her calm, he didn't want to be so upset or worried with this.
Scarlette nodded silently and just stood there taking in the feel of his arms around her, his smell. A smile started to spread across her lips as Scarlette pulled back just enough to press her lips softly against his.
She didn't know why she was so nervous. If there was anyone she shouldn't be so worried to be with, he was standing right there with her.
Vincent smiled, and pressed his lips against hers softly, arms around her, the hunger settling in again, replacing the nervousness, but he calmed it, he wasn't going to rush what they had, not now he knew his feelings, how he much he cared, he wanted these moments to be good for the both of them.
Her hands moved up to rest gently on the sides of his face and Scarlette could still feel the butterflies in her stomach. But she did her best to not let them float up to her mind and ruin the evening at all.
Scarlette pressed into the kiss a little harder, her own hunger growing inside.
