Honest to Pete, Rob's tune on the soundtrack is just... yeah. *word fail*

BUT, that said, I'm having a really difficult time understanding the lyrics. I've jotted down what I think I hear, but I'm not sure.

I'd appreciate any corrections, as I need to commit these to memory ASAP. :-) Forgive me if I've butchered these, this isn't my forte.

I'm so,so,so in love with that song! It is hard to understand though. Someone on lion_lamb posted the song sung by another person (a friend/band mate?). He sings it differently and (I think) it is easier to hear some of the lyrics. Might help?

He is a wee bit hard to understand....think ladybracknell was going to do a transcription for us!

My only 'fault' with this song is that I'd love to hear this really breathy sigh at the very end. *shudders* Course that would do me in.

I really like the soundtrack better than I thought I would. There's two songs I don't care for at all, but otherwise I'm enjoying it.

That said, if my MCR song isn't on the New Moon soundtrack, I'll be devastated, lol

I think yours is probably (much) closer to accurate. I waffled on the hold on/oh Lord bit, but I think you're right. And there's just something wicked-hot about that line.

I think the fourth stanza is right too. God, I love this song. (Read: God, I love this man.) I'm still having a hard time with "Let Me Sign" too. I have about half of it, and the rest iz mumbulz......

My headphones are wicked, lol. It's a great song. I heard the original on MySpace and I think Rob's version kicks its ass.

lol, it's weird because your icon appears to me right both times. When it happened to me yesterday I thought it was one of those hotlinked sort of messages that berates you, and I was thinking "NOOOO! I swear I didn't hotlink!" lol

OK, my lyics are nearly tit for tat. I had 'shattered' instead of sheltered, but I think you're right.

Um, yes, I'm all for impromptou guitar concerts! We need to be thorough in checking these lyrics. It's of the UTMOST importance. ;-)
